Tuesday night, the first US Presidential debate kicked off. President Trump was fired up, Joe Biden seemed a lot more amped up than every other day we see him. Chris Wallace spent a lot of time debating the President and making sure the President didn't beat Joe up too bad. At the end of the day, President Trump dominated and it was very personal to him. It's almost like Trump was angry at Biden for something Biden did to him....hmmm wonder what that could be. Anyways, what brings us here are the polls, and I'm not talking about media polls and think tank polls, I'm talking about Twitter and Internet polls, the real polls in my opinion. What we're going to do here is take a look at 6 different polls, 4 twitter and 2 from news websites, all show a clear winner of the debate. First poll we'll look at is C-SPAN. Out of over 325,000 votes, President Trump won with 69% of the vote. Clear winner for this poll. Next we'll take a look at Fox12 Oregon: The blue state of Oregon, home of the communist stronghold of Portland, seemed to think President Trump won too. Trump winning 51% of the 6,067 votes recorded. Close, but the President wins. The third Twitter poll we have is from @Politics_Polls. Verified? No. Heavily followed? Yes. Polls are commonly unbiased on this account as are their results. President Trump ran away with this poll, winning 62% of this 370,000+ vote poll. The last Twitter poll we'll look at is a snap poll done right after the debate ended, and I believe it was only up for half an hour. This is from @US_PoliticsPoll. Not a fan of some of the polls they run, but results are very competitive it seems on most of them. President Trump crowned as the winner again, winning 48% of the 1,331 votes. Alright, now let's take a look at a couple open polls from websites. The first one I have is from Fox8 out of Cleveland, Ohio. Another W for President Trump, winning 53% of the 6,400 votes recorded. Last but not least we have a poll from a WGA America site, NewsNationNow. This was a snap poll as well, not sure on the duration, but it was already done when I saw it yesterday, so it wasn't even active for 12 hours. At any rate, President Trump won that with 61% of the vote with 5,100 votes cast.
Of course there are more of these polls elsewhere, and majority of them show Trump did win. I felt showing 6 would make the point that people thought President Trump won the debate. These polls are open to anyone to take and that's what makes them, in my opinion, more real than others. Hope you enjoyed this post, and stay tuned for more!
