Tonight we have a special edition of Headlines of the Day on Monday, July 9, 2018. This evening Pulsar is diving in to President Trump's Supreme Court pick.
Fox News reported earlier today, around 3:00PM EST, that President Trump has chosen his Supreme Court nominee. President Trump had narrowed it down to four finalists:
Pulsar ran a poll on Twitter today asking the folks who they think President Trump selected. Results are as follows: 
Amy Coney Barrett won that poll with ease.
Well the wait is over, and President Trump has chosen Brett Kavanaugh as the next Supreme Court Justice of the United States. Brett Kavanaugh is from the D.C Circuit Court of Appeals. This is a great victory for conservatives and republicans alike. The United States in general benefits greatly off this pick. With the appointment of Brett Kavanaugh, the rule of law and the constitution will always be represented from this day forward on the highest bench in the USA. This is President Trump's second SCOTUS appointment, and chances are Trump will get a third appointment. Ruth Ginsburg seems to be the next one to leave the nations highest bench, and it's very likely it'll happen by 2020, but extremely likely it'll happen by 2024. 2024 will be Trump's last year in office. The left seems to abuse the federal courts in this country, and they'd use the Supreme Court as a bully pulpit. Many feared if the left gained control of the Supreme Court, then the constitution itself will be at jeopardy, but luckily we won't have to worry about that for decades to come.
