It was a heated day on Capitol Hill, disgraced FBI agent Peter Strzok testified in front of Congress about his bias and handling of the Trump investigation.
He was grilled by the GOP congressmen, and of course, stuck up for by the Democrat congressmen. At times the Republicans and Democrats were going at each other. Peter Strzok was very careful in how he answered every question. At times, he couldn't answer simple questions because he'd claim the FBI wouldn't allow him, but there was several times he'd say that, and the FBI would come back and say he was allowed to answer whatever question it was. It's funny, because Strzok has claimed, and claimed many times today, that he was not biased and that bias did not influence his investigation. His text messages and personal beliefs completely contradict that. Whenever members of Congress would hammer him on bias, that's when Strzok would get the most defensive and visibly irritated. Let's watch a few videos from today shall we. First we'll start off with the complete exchange between Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC) and Peter Strzok, and at the end is where you'll see Strzok get very defensive and irritated about his clear bias. This video is per C-SPAN:
Gowdy really let Strzok have it, and really hit the nail on the head. Strzok really didn't have a defense, but did his best to answer as carefully as possible.
To show Strzok's true bias, and to make him actually read that bias Congress, Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA) made Strzok read his clearly biased text messages, some of which Strzok said he couldn't recall writing or sending. Check it here per Storm Scoops on YouTube:
The man clearly had bias, and to tell his mistress, and co-worker, Lisa Page that "We'll stop it" when talking about Trump becoming President is astounding. Strzok then sits there in front of Congress and clearly lies about not having any bias.
Rep. Gohmert (R-TX) told Strzok straight up on how he felt about him and accused him of lying. Sparks really flew from this meeting, see the exchange here per Fox News:
That exchange really upset the Democrats, but it needed to be said, and someone besides Trey Gowdy and Jim Jordan had to put Strzok in his place.
Listen when you're the lead FBI investigator, investigating then candidate and nominee Trump, and then President Trump, and you're texting with another FBI investigator about stopping Trump, impeaching Trump, and getting him to resign, you have bias. After all these text messages came out months ago, Mueller kicked Strzok off the investigation, but Strzok said that his texts had nothing to do with it, but declined to say why he really was kicked off. Strzok was also in charge of the Hillary Clinton investigation as well. Strzok is the one who changed the wording. Per CBS News, Strzok changed it from "grossly negligent", which would have almost ensured charges to be filed against Clinton, to "extremely careless" which gave Clinton a slap on the wrist. Comey confirmed that, but Strzok said he did not recall changing that language. How funny. Listen the FBI as a whole aren't bad people, they do great things for this nation, but those in Washington D.C, and those running these investigations into Clinton and Trump, are extremely biased and corrupt. They clearly do not and never did like President Trump, but for some reason that's not big deal to them or the Democrats in this country. Something has to give here. Strzok's mistress, and co-worker, Lisa Page failed to appear in front of Congress this week. Page claimed she didn't have all the documents needed to answer questions, but it doesn't seem like she wants to play ball at all. It feels like Page will crack under pressure, and she is doing all she can to delay the hearings and weasel her way through it. The United States of America and her people deserve better, and they deserve honest answers. The house of cards is slowly but surely falling down. It's only a matter of time until someone folds, or evidence comes out where no one can defend against it. President Trump is right, this is a total witch hunt. These people in the FBI, the Democrats, and Hillary Clinton herself thought they'd win in 2016 and none of this would see the light of day, well they failed, and Donald J. Trump is president, and we're seeing all this corruption come to light. As Johnny Cash said in "God's Gonna Cut You Down", "You may throw your rock and hide your hand, working in the dark against your fellow man, but as sure as God made black and white, what's done in the dark will be brought to the light...". You're damn right John, God rest your soul.
